Having a well-mannered dog begins by having a fundamental understanding of how dogs view the world, then teaching the dog how to navigate it. Without this understanding we fail to truly connect with our canine, create reliable changes in their behavior & conflict between us is inevitable. This is our philosophy.
We curate a training plan based on an extensive evaluation of your dog and your unique living situation.

If there is ONE thing that TWO trainers will agree on it's what the THIRD one is doing wrong. This industry is full of differing theories and opinions on how to properly and humanely train our favorite animal. Frankly there are a lot of internet experts giving advice designed to tug on your heartstrings, tickle your fancy and take advantage of the fact that dog training is not your expertise. The best advice we can give you is to ask a lot of questions and even more importantly, take a look at the proof. If you have a problem that needs solved, the trainer who you hire should have proof of successfully solving that problem. With that being said, in the internet age it can be easy to make a dog appear to have been "TRANSFORMED" through short form video content on social media. The real results will reveal themselves straight from the mouth of the dog's owner. Ask for references. Former clients will be able to articulate to you what their dog's behavior and overall attitude was like before and after training, how the trainer treated their dog, as well as what their experience was like working with that trainer.
There is arguably no greater joy for a dog than to run free. For us as the dog's owner it's incredibly rewarding to see as well. It's our goal for every dog we train to experience this freedom, but the bridge to attain that freedom is having a reliable recall command. When we begin teaching the recall we use a long leash to reinforce the command whenever the dog chooses to blow us off (which of course is inevitable). Once that foundation is laid, we then begin implementing the e-collar following the same exact principals we've been utilizing with the long leash. Think of the e-collar as a remote control leash, able to reach the dog from nearly a mile away.
The e-collar is a tool ridiculed by many trainers attempting to slander those who understand the incredible benefits of training with the tool. To us, it would be a travesty to rob a dog like Coconut (seen in videos) of the ability to do what she was born to do; run like the wind! Coconut would run far away from her owners before training; An extremely dangerous behavior that with the help of e-collar training we have been able to stop. Since then her life has opened up so much.
No animal should be destined to a life tethered to a leash. That is a life unfulfilled. You'll be shocked at the change in the animal's mood and attitude when we can allow them to live like animals.
